Jacó is where Costa Ricans send people to learn. Local surfers call it the best spot in the country to start — to get used to paddling, duck diving and reading the ocean. The bay runs about four kilometers, the sand is dark, and the currents are real, so treat it as a surf beach first and a swimming beach second.

We had a great stay in La Paloma! Easy and walking access to the beach and nearby restaurants. And just 10-15 mins from the ATV excursion we did. Ana was very responsive and was willing to provide early check-in and late check-out for a bit due to excursion plans. Although we ended up not needing it, that was a huge accommodation and we are grateful! It’s just like the pics show. A sweet surprise for me was that there’s also ocean view from the master bedroom. We saw and heard macaws flying all over the condo. And one finally landed in a tree!

me encanta ir a Paloma Blanca he ido muchísimas veces con mi familia, por primera vez le alquilaba a Milena. Ella muy servicial y me supo resolver los inconvenientes que tuvimos. Decía que era para 6 personas sin embargo el sofá de la sala no es sofá cama, asi que 4 personas duermen en cama nada más. recomendaría cambiar el sofá por sofá cama para que duerman 2 personas ahí. Los utensilios de cocina no habían 6 de cada cosa, pero le dije a Milena y ella resolvió rápidamente. Sí volvería a quedarme ahí!!!
